May is National Bike Month! Did you know the Town of Cornelius adopted a Bicycle Master Plan, "Bike!Cornelius", in 2017? It is as important for motorists to respect cyclists' rights to share the road as it is for cyclists to follow the same traffic laws as motorists. Both cars and bikes are viable means of transportation sharing the same roads - let's work together to make it safe for everyone!

Fitness Classes - Get ready for warmer weather...register for new sessions of these popular classes:
- Tai Chi for Health - Thursday or Saturday mornings starting May 3 and 5. Classes for beginner and intermediate students.

Senior Fit Club
- Choose two or three mornings per week, Mon/Wed/Fri. Next sessions begin June 25 or join the current session for a prorated fee.

Cardio Funk
- Ongoing, Monday evenings or Saturday mornings.
Stand Up Paddleboarding
, with single-date sessions on Saturdays, 3:30-5:00 pm. Next dates are May 12 and June 9, with more options in July-September.
NEW:
Sunset Paddleboard Tours
for those with some SUP experience, with single-date sessions on Thursdays, 7:00-8:30 pm. Next dates are May 17 and June 14, with more options in July-August.
All paddleboarding lessons and tours take place at Aloha Paddle Sports and are for ages 12 to adult; under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
$25 residents, $30 non-residents.

Registration remains open for
Northern Adventures Summer Day Camp
! There will be eight weeks of camps for ages 6-21, with youth and teens each having their own group. Camp will be held at The Dellwood Center in Huntersville. $100 per week.
