Dear HCC family,

As I prepared to enter my second year as the Senior Pastor of Hillcrest, I set aside a season to fast and pray for what God may emphasize in the coming season. Over the next two Sunday mornings, I'll be sharing what I feel the Lord has highlighted and what it means for us all.

Join us on Friday, June 22 at Franklin Park for live music, free food and family-friendly fun! This concert features Joy Camp, a Kansas City based indie rock and roll band made up of guys who all grew up going to Hillcrest and led worship through middle school and high school. Meet the Chan Family on Sunday, June 24 David will be sharing about their ministry in Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia, in both services. Join Kristi, Anna, Elisa and Andrew for coffee and donuts in the library after each service.
Adelante Thrift Donation Drive on Sunday, July 15  | Drop off new and gently used clothing and furniture in the Hillcrest parking lot from 8:30 AM to noon. Please separate donated clothes (women's, men's, children's).

Volunteers needed for the Mission Adelante Donation Drive | Click here to volunteer on Sunday, July 15 at Hillcrest during and after the services. We need 40 volunteers to help collect, sort and transport items to Adelante Thrift. 
Our Green Bags have turned blue! If you or someone you know needs groceries, take a bag or two the next time you leave the building. Bags are located at select doors.
We Can Do More Together | Summer is a great time to try something new. We'd love for you to use your gifts to serve preschool or elementary kids on Sundays this summer while some of our leaders are away on vacation. V oice of Love Pancake Breakfast | Saturday, June 23 from 8 to 10:30 AM in Fellowship Hall. Suggested donation is $5 with proceeds going to Voice of Love Outreach. All are welcome.

Congregational Meeting on Sunday, July 1 at 6 PM | The purpose of this meeting will be to receive, comment and informally pre-approve the proposed budget for the 2018-2019 ministry year. We will also hear a report from the Midwest Conference in Colorado in April. Only church members can vote at the meeting, but all who call Hillcrest home are welcome to attend and observe. 

Proposed Changes to Constitution | Click here to view proposed changes to the Hillcrest constitution. Church members are encouraged to read these proposed changes in advance of a vote at our Annual Meeting on Sunday, August 26 at 6 PM.

Finance Note | Receipts thru 5-31-18: $1,996,765. Annual Goal 7/1/17-6/30/18: $2,050,000. Hillcrest’s fiscal year ends on June 30, 2018.

CHIC Fundraiser on Sunday, June 24 | Save the date for a bake sale in the lobby just outside the sanctuary. Proceeds will help send our youth to CHIC, a once every three year experience for high school youth. This summer, it’s at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from July 14 to 20.
