Alumni Spotlight
Megan Cokely (Bohrer)
Bachelor of Arts in Music 2006, French Horn
After graduating from George Mason University in 2006, Megan Cokely (Bohrer) received her Masters in Performing Arts Management and a Graduate Certificate in Economic Development through Sustainable Cultural Tourism, both from Boston University.  She is currently the Group Sales Manager for the Boston Symphony Orchestra, coordinating group tickets for the BSO, Boston Pops, and Tanglewood seasons.  She also coordinates and executes their Working With the Masters program; in which visiting ensembles have the opportunity to work with a member of the BSO or Pops in a master class setting. In addition, the visiting ensembles have the potential to play on the Symphony Hall stage and receive feedback from a BSO/Pops musician; or participate in a custom-designed educational workshop in which students will listen to a BSO/Pops musician explain what it's like to be a professional musician. She shared with us, " I wouldn't be doing any of this if it weren't for my time at, and connections from, GMU!"
