  • Cape Air - two round-trip tickets between Ogdensburg and Boston
  • Fitness and Beauty Gift Certificate
  • Painting on Velvet by local artist Sigrid S. Reichert
  • Handmade rolling pins and cutting board by Daniel Hayden

Summer Adventures Begin Next Month
Summer Adventures: Feeding Kids' Minds and Bodies is pilot program that offers free structured summer recreation to kids ages 6-12. Monday through Friday for six weeks, students will be bused to Taylor Park for a full day of free activities centered around themes of health and well-being. A free, healthy lunch will be prepared and served by GardenShare's generous volunteers.

This program is a collaborative effort between GardenShare and the Canton Recreation Department. GardenShare's aim is to lessen the food insecurity that some of Canton's children experience in summer when free and reduced-price school lunches are unavailable.
Volunteering with Summer Adventures

Volunteer meal prep slots are Tuesdays from 5:00-6:30pm, Thursdays from 9:00am-12:00pm, and Sundays from 2:00-5:00pm.

Lunch service slots will be Monday through Friday from 11:30am-1:00pm.

Groups of friends are encouraged to volunteer together--it's also a great way to make new friends! Prior cooking experience encouraged but not required.
