6th Annual Pat Fort Memorial Animal Fair!
Saturday, May 12th 10am - 1pm
Owen Brown Interfaith Center (OBIC)
7246 Cradlerock Way, Columbia, MD 21045
Please join Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Columbia's (UUCC) Animal Ministry, 'Creature Connection', on Saturday, May 12th, 10am-1pm as we celebrate spring and our animal friends at the 6th Annual Pat Fort Memorial Animal Fair. As always, it will be held rain or shine on the OBIC grounds and promises to be a fun, family-friendly event! All are welcome, so please bring along your friends and neighbors!
Expect to meet service dogs, rescued rabbits, wildlife, maybe even a farm animal, as well as people from rescue, welfare, and other animal-friendly organizations. We'll feature face painting, a crafts activity, a charity bake sale/lemonade stand, musical entertainment by the "Ad Hoc Animal Choir" (Chalice Choir/Chalice Lights), and the return of the always popular, "Who Am I?" animal tracks game, with a special prize for the winning entry! The UUCC Bookstore will have special deals on a variety of animal-themed books and we'll be collecting "wish list" items for the nearby All Creatures Great and Small Wildlife Center.
So, save the date - May 12th - and come on down to the Animal Fair! Definitely 3 hours well spent!
SPECIAL REQUEST: Please leave your family pet at home out of respect for our special animal "guests!" THANK YOU!

We have an opening on our five member Village Architectural Committee. The commitment is small, but the impact is BIG. Members make property site visits, review and vote on applications for exterior alterations, and consult on covenant issues in the Village.
Meetings are held twice a month; on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays at 7:30pm at Kahler Hall and are usually over by 9pm. Volunteers must lease or own property located in the Village and must be able to obtain a Certificate of Compliance for their property. Contact the Covenant Advisor, Debbie Nix, for more information at 410-730-0770 or [email protected]
