Please Pray for

- joy and peace in our world

St. Dominic,
Pray for Us
If you have a prayer request, please email [email protected].

May 3, 2018

Dear School Families,

"Gentle woman, quiet light,
morning star, so strong and bright,
gentle Mother, peaceful dove,
teach us wisdom; teach us love."

Because of Mary's perfect cooperation with God's grace, she is recognized by the church as having a special role as a vehicle of grace for all Christians and all humanity.  When the angel Gabriel conveyed God's will to her that she become the mother of God's Son, her response was a perfect "yes".  Mary responded, "May it be done to me according to your word" (Luke 1:38).  Let us pray to God, through the intercession of Mary, for the grace of generosity in our hearts and wills, in our school, in our community and in our world.  (A Prayer Service, St. Mary's Press)

I invite you to join us Friday, May 4 at 9:00 a.m. at the church for one of my favorite traditions at Holy Rosary School.  The 8th graders have prepared a special prayer service and our beautiful court will crown our Blessed Mother, Mary.
In Partnership,

Fely Fajardo
Principal

Parents & Our Catholic Identity

The joy of being able to walk the journey of our Catholic faith together with our son is priceless. Having him come home from school and teach me a prayer they have learned in school makes my heart smile.

Soles4Souls Shoe Drive

The Holy Rosary National Junior Honor Society will be hosting a Soles4Souls shoe drive from May 7th through May 18th. We will be collecting any type and size of new or gently worn shoes. Drop off your shoes in one of the collection boxes located throughout the school by May 18th.

Your donated shoes will help finance Soles4Souls distributions of new shoes to children worldwide and help individuals start and sustain small businesses to lift themselves out of poverty.  To learn more about Soles4Souls mission, visit:
