Sound Meditation & Relaxation
with Kate Henshaw & Josie Lees
Join us for an immersive experience using yoga and sound to bring the body and mind into deeply relaxed state.

Beginning with a gentle restorative yoga practice including hands-on assists/ massage, we will take your mind on a journey through yoga nidra (yogic sleep) and follow with the placement of Tibetan singing bowls and vocal toning to soothe the body while you deeply relax.
This class is appropriate for all levels, including complete beginners (please advise us if you are pregnant, have a pacemaker or an abnormal heart rhythm so we can adjust your session accordingly)

108 Pranamas for Change

On World Yoga Day, millions of people will be coming together to celebrate and practice.

Join us at Be-Yoga for a special charity event for the Brighton Yoga Foundation, part of Brighton Yoga Festival.

Led by Bryony, we will join together for 108 ritual Pranamas, a simple practice of receptive movements as a moving meditation.
The Brighton Yoga Foundation is a registered charity dedicated to spreading the benefits of yoga within the local community. It aims to promote public education about the philosophy and practice of yoga and provides and annual free-entry yoga festival in Brighton as well as year-round community yoga outreach programmes.

Yoga for Anxiety
with Bryony Hamerton
We all feel anxious from time to time...

For some of us, the symptoms of anxiety can be overwhelming and can prevent us from living fully, being happy and content.
In this workshop you will learn about the physiological effects of the stress response, how yoga practice can help you to regulate the symptoms of anxiety and ease tension in the body. We will practice some gentle hatha yoga, learn simple breathing techniques to restore balance within the nervous system and improve heart rate variability, empowering you to feel more calm and centred.
 
This workshop will also be useful for anyone living with, or supporting someone with anxiety.  Suitable for all levels .
