Dear LSRCC Members and Friends,
Something happened today on Main Street, New London that I want to share.
In the midst of my daily morning routine (putting out the Welcome sign and the American flag), a car passed and honked and I exchanged a big good morning hello and a wave with our neighbors. I was struck in that very moment with enormous gratitude  --you know that "aha" moment -- what a privilege it is to serve as the Chamber Executive Director for this region and to call it home.
The Lake Sunapee Region is rich in community spirit and loyalty, diverse in commerce and stunning in all seasons. This magical combination results in varied activities for all ages, for both visitors and residents, and a busy time for our business members.
There are several significant anniversaries this year with the Sunapee Sestercentennial (or 250th) and the New London Hospital Centennial, as well as annual old home days, festivals and fairs, camps, workshops, theater, gallery openings, farmers markets, trails and lakes all within reach. I encourage you to check the chamber website often for member information and add your events to the calendar.
Spring may have taken her time, but we are ready and excited for all the activity ahead!
Patty
