COMMUNITY NEWS/EVENTS
Warriors Arrive This Thursday!

BHI Warrior Weekend
April 19th - 23rd

Each year, BHI welcomes five purple heart recipients and their families to enjoy a restful, no-cost weekend in recognition of their service to our country. This year's weekend will be held on April 19th - 23rd. Funds are needed to help make preparations for the warriors, their caregivers and families.

Checks made payable to 'Halo for Freedom' can be dropped off (111 Lighthouse Wynd) or mailed (PO Box 3030, BHI, NC 28461) to BHA. Make sure to write 'BHI Weekend' in the memo. Halo for Freedom is a 501(c)(3) organization and contributions may be tax deductible.

Please consider attending the community dinner with the warriors and their families at the Bald Head Island Club on Friday, April 20th from 3-6pm. There will be live music by The Tonez Band, a balloon artist and games for the kids, family entertainment and tandem team jumps. Come and show these families how much their service to this country means to you.

Contact John Fisher at [email protected] for more information.
