Dear Friends!

Welcome to April! It's finally starting to warm up out there. There are hints of green and there's life poking up out of the mud. The birds are returning and the sunshine seems warmer.

We're so excited to share the beauty of Lake Michigan and Manitowoc County with you this spring. The Manitowoc Area Visitor and Convention Bureau encourages everyone who steps through our doors to visit our local partners for all their springtime wants and needs, and get out there and breathe the fresh, spring air!

"Came the Spring with all its splendor,
All its birds and all its blossoms,
All its flowers and leaves and grasses."

~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, from The Song of Hiawatha

             The Ultimate Queen Celebration

The Ultimate Queen Celebration, starring Marc Martel  is a highly theatrical, eye-popping production that incorporates 23 of the songs that Queen made famous: including "We Will Rock You," "Radio Gaga," "We are the Champions," "Fat Bottomed Girls," "Another One Bites the Dust," "Somebody to Love," "Bohemian Rhapsody," "Crazy Little Thing Called Love," and many more.

In a novel twist, the concert will also include a selection of songs that reflect Mercury's interest in musical styles beyond rock - including "Ave Maria" and the great operatic aria, "Nessun Dorma" - all performed by Martel as they might have been performed by Freddie Mercury.

Check out a sneak peak of this great event!
