St Joseph High School - A Catholic College Preparatory School
St Joseph Feast Day: Together for Others
On Tuesday, March 19, the entire school celebrated The Feast of St Joseph - a day-long celebration that includes Mass, multiple service projects, and various fun and engaging activities for our students.

The day began with a school-wide Mass celebrated by Bishop Caggiano, and joined by more than 200 Grandparents of our current students.
Cadets then took part in different activities throughout the day, including our annual Meal Pack with Catholic Relief Services. Our students helped to pack more than 24,000 meals (enough to feed 144,000 people!). In addition, students made 250 Easter Baskets as well as 400 paper lilies!

Read a reflection from Head of School, Dr Fitzgerald and view photos of the day on our  Smug Mug page ! And click here to read an article in the Trumbull Times !
Coach Luchansky Receives a Lifetime Achievement Award!
Congratulations to Coach Jim Luchansky - who will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award, presented by the National Football Foundation on April 28, 2019 at Vazzy's 4 Seasons! Coach Luchansky will be recognized for his years of service in amateur sports  as a coach, official, and parent.

In addition, Rob Mihaly '19 will be honored at the dinner as a scholar-athlete! This is such a great honor for St Joes and we are so proud of both Coach Luch and Rob!
Kenny Schneider Crowned Mr Student Body 2019!
What a show! St Joe's 11th Annual Mr Student Body was truly a sight to behold!
It was a packed house as our senior boys showcased their dancing skills, individual talents, and trivia expertise as they competed for the title of "Mr Student Body 2019." Mr Student Body strengthens friendships while raising awareness and funding for The Center of Family Justice.

Congratulations to our 2019 Mr Student Body, Kenny Schneider! And congrats to Aiden Marin, as well, who was crowned the fan favorite!

Spread the Word! St Joe's Spring Open House is April 3rd!
We hope you will help us spread the word about St Joes' Spring Open House!

Like many of our parents know, an SJ Open House is unlike any other. With both formal academic presentations and a free flowing fair, future parents will understand why so many students choose to make St Joes their second home.

This event is open to all prospective students (5th grade and above) and their families. Parents can RSVP at sjcadets.org/visit!
Cadet, Check Out This Scholarship Opportunity!
Are you a student who's had a special travel experience? The Ripley Hunter "World is a Classroom" essay scholarship contest was created for high school students, based on the strong belief that travel positively affects the development of students and youth.

Students are invited to use their creativity to compose an article or speech illustrating a student travel experience.  Deadline for entry is April 30, 2019. Click here to learn more!
