It dawned on me a few weeks ago that Capital Electric will celebrate 40 years in business this year. I know... I'm a little slow at times.

The greatest part of being around for that many years are the relationships longevity affords us. We've been blessed with opportunities to meet many incredible customers and vendors - some of these relationships have existed for decades, some more recent. Many have turned into great friendships that have crossed business boundaries and become very personal.

Relationships, of course, are a two-way street. What I'm most proud of is our team at Capital. We have some of the most dedicated, hard-working, straight-shooting, knowledgeable people in the industry. We know that you can sell the best, highest performing products in the world but if you don't help people with their unique needs the solution is mediocre at best. Our team has built a culture of trust - with customers as well as vendors - to overcome this challenge. We're proud to be at your service to help get your customers' jobs done right the first time.

One of my favorite phrases to use when introducing our company to someone new is: "When you call Capital, you'll never hear (or feel like), I'm sorry that's not my department. I can't help you." We're a team that knows its purpose, which is to help people. Thank you for allowing us to fulfill it for the last 40 years.
