Study Retreat
|
May 4, 5, and 6 - Marsh Chapel, Lower Level
Study Retreats provide an opportunity to unite head and heart by putting study in the context of spiritual practice. Each day begins with breakfast and Morning Meditation during which participants articulate what they intend to accomplish during the day. After a substantial period of study, participants gather for Mid-Day Meditation followed by lunch and then another study period. The day ends with Evening Meditation during which participants check in about what they accomplished, celebrating successes and encouraging one another to keep working toward unmet goals.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner is provided. Participation in Study Retreats is free of charge and available to all Boston
University students. For more information or to register online, visit the Marsh Chapel website under the "Life Together" tab. For more information contact Br. Larry Whitney, [email protected].

This Month in Children's Education
|
Sunday - 11:50 a.m. - Marsh Chapel, Lower Level
Every week at Marsh Chapel, we offer an exciting and educational children's lesson, led by our Ministry Assistant for Children's Education, Mahalia Damm. This month, our Children's Education unit is "Seeds of Peace". Inspired by James 3:18, this unit encourages kids to explore how we can be "peacemakers who plant seeds of peace" everywhere we go. In this spirit, the children of Marsh Chapel are participating in a Lenten "conserving creation project,". In collaboration with their families, they will creatively work on sacrifice in service to others (eg: giving up a portion of allowance). All funds raised by the children of Marsh Chapel throughout the Lenten season will be donated to Ocean Conservancy, an international organization working to keep oceans clean, healthy, and safe for the creatures who call it home. For more information regarding Children's Education at Marsh, please contact Mahalia at [email protected].
