The Capitol Hill Station Development, the mixed-income and mixed-use development project that surrounds the Capitol Hill Light Rail Station, will break ground June 19, 2018.
A celebration will be held on the site of the future public plaza, near the intersection of Broadway and Denny on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 from 5-7 p.m.

John & Thomas Corridor Crossing Improvements
The
John and Thomas Corridor Crossing Improvements project increases the visibility of people walking and biking at intersections without traffic signals, improving safety along this busy street served by King County Metro bus routes 8 and 10 and Sound Transit's Capitol Hill light rail station. This project was selected by the
Levy to Move Seattle Oversight Committee in 2016 for funding through the
Neighborhood Street Fund (NSF) program and constuction will begin as early as July.

Queer/Bar Popcult Pride Weekend
June 22 - June 24
Queer/Bar (1518 11th Ave)
Queer/bar pride festival is a 3-day pride weekend event in Capitol Hill, the Seattle home for all things queer. The indoor + outdoor festival extends from inside queer/bar into a giant street party complete with two stages, two dance floors, multiple bars, food vendors, and a VIP lounge. Some of the biggest names on the spectrum of queer talent, in addition to local artists, will perform from open to close each day of the event! Join us as we celebrate the diversity and strength of the Seattle LGBTQIA+ community at queer/bar's first annual pride festival.

PrideFest Capitol Hill

Now in its 5th year, PrideFest Capitol Hill is now expanded to encompass Broadway from John to Roy, as well as Denny Way and Cal Anderson Park for Family Pride and Queer Youth Pride. An event for the traditional LGBTQ neighborhood, now fully managed by PrideFest exclusively. All ages.

Seattle Dyke March

The Seattle Dyke March is an annual tradition. The Seattle Dyke Rally and March attempts to create an atmosphere where we can learn about different aspects of our communities and become inspired to take action.
The Seattle Dyke March, like many other Dyke Marches nationally and internationally, happens the Saturday evening before the Sunday Pride Parade. We will once again rally outside at Seattle Central College and then we march through Capitol Hill. Rally start time is at 5pm withe th march slated for 7pm.
