SCBA Newsletter - December 2020

A message from our Board of Directors...

This monumental year is coming to a close, there were ups and downs, but we are looking forward to seeing what 2021 brings. This year proved to be challenging in many ways, but we were able to stay connected virtually, we supported six $1,000 scholarships for local Carroll County graduating seniors, held a successful golf tournament, and fostered a stronger South Carroll community!

This year, we will be holding board elections differently. Members will be sent an email through which you can vote for up to 5 board members (or write someone in). We'll have the results of the vote at the December meeting and will announce the 2021 board of directors.

We could not have gotten through 2020 without the amazing support from all of our members. Thank you to our newsletter sponsors, lunch sponsors, and Golf Tournament sponsors for your support throughout the year. A special thank you goes out to our 2020 Liberty Sponsor, Carroll Community College; we appreciate your past support and thank you for your continued support in 2021. Thank you to our fantastic board members who have kept us afloat!

Do not forget to renew your SCBA Membership for 2021 by December 31, 2020 to be included in next year’s directory, which will be mailed to over 15,000 homes in Carroll County in early February 2021! There is still time to bundle your membership with the purchase of an advertisement to get a special membership rate.
