Today is a great day to learn something new - and we can help! Georgina Public Library is pleased to introduce free unlimited online learning to library card holders through
Lynda.com.
Lynda.com is a paid subscription service for online courses and tutorials. As a Georgina Public Library cardholder, you can now access 6,000 courses and 260,000 tutorials absolutely free. Courses can be accessed at the library or from home on topics from photography to computer skills to marketing. All you need is a valid Library card, your 4-digit Library PIN and an Internet connection.

Artist in Residence Program
The Artist in Residence program will provide two professional York Region based artists or
collectives of artists with
$2500 and the opportunity to further develop their professional practice. The program will offer exposure to new resources, potential partnerships, media, the public and new market opportunities. The program will also provide the artist with the space and tools needed to build their portfolio. This is a unique opportunity for York Region artists to nurture their professional practices close to home.

A Community Improvement Plan (CIP) is intended to improve a defined area within a community that has been identified as in need of revitalization. The CIP articulates a vision for Uptown Keswick, Downtown Sutton and Downtown Jackson's Point.

Economic Development Community Building Grant Application.
The objective of the grant program is to provide financial assistance for programs and events that serve to promote the Town of Georgina to markets outside Georgina, generate economic opportunities for the local business community and provide for the betterment of the Community.
