Howard County Recycling
Household Hazardous Waste drop-off resumes April 7th at the Alpha Ridge Landfill.

Propane, Helium and Oxygen tanks can be taken to the Alpha Ridge Landfill for recycling. Never put them in your curbside recycling bin. The processing equipment isn't meant for these types of metal items.

Resident Architectural Committee (RAC)
The RAC meets the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month. The next RAC meeting will be held on 
Thursday, April 19th at 7:30 p.m. at the Other Barn. Sign-in begins at 7:00 p.m. A list of applications for the meeting can be found here .

Oakland Mills' Got Talent,
part of Oakland Mills' 50th Birthday Kick-off Celebration on Saturday, May 19th.

Any Oakland Mills resident, student, business owner, or any individual who works in the Oakland Mills community is welcome to perform!
 
Applications and guidelines can be found here and are due May 4th. Performance will be at 6:00 p.m. on May 19th. (Dress Rehearsal on May 16)

Lively Arts For Little Ones 
2017-2018 Season

Oh Susannah!  
 
Join us for a lively introduction to the arts for little ones through a series of 45-minute live performances. Ideal for children ages 2 - 5 and their parent or caregiver. Tickets are $5/person for everyone ages 2 and up.

A special craft is given out to the "little ones" after each performance as our way saying thanks for joining us!

The Howard County Police Department teams up with students to teach the fundamental moves of chess.  Skill level doesn't matter, and all students are welcome, whether you are a beginner or a master.  CheckMates Chess Club meets every Monday from 4 - 6 pm. at the Barn (YTC).  Students must be registered with YTC to join.
