The International Center is a catalyst to inform, convene and connect public, private and civic global objectives in Indiana.
THE CENTER GOES TO WASHINGTON, D.C.
In addition to his duties as president and CEO of The International Center, Martin Baier also serves as the Honorary Consul of France to the State of Indiana, a title also held by his predecessor, Diane Thomas. Due to this distinction, he was invited by the French Embassy in Washington, D.C., to a reception in honor of visiting President Emmanuel Macron .

During his whirlwind stay in the nation's capital, Baier visited Global Ties U.S. , a longtime partner and supporter of The Center and an organization he serves as a board member. He and Katherine Brown , the newly installed president and CEO of Global Ties U.S., discussed our organizations' relationship, upcoming opportunities to host international delegations in Indiana, and more.
