BC Poverty Reduction Strategy
The Province has released its Poverty Reduction Strategy, Together BC. The strategy outlines policies to achieve the targets introduced in the 2018 Poverty Reduction Strategy Act: a 25% reduction in B.C.'s overall poverty rate and a 50% reduction in the child poverty rate by 2024. Read more

Caribou Recovery Engagement
The provincial government is seeking feedback on two draft agreements related to the caribou recovery: the Section 11 Agreement under the Species at Risk Act; and the draft inter-governmental partnership Agreement for the central group of the Southern Mountain Caribou. Read more

Bylaw Adjudication Program
The Tribunal Transformation and Supports Office (TTSO), within the Ministry of Attorney General, has been designated as the new roster organization for the Bylaw Adjudication Program. The TTSO will assume this role previously held by Mediate BC, starting on April 1, 2019. Read more
