company updates from 8-koi :: spring '18
Happy Spring!

Like new sprouts stretching for the sun with longer days ahead, everyone here at 8-koi is energized for a very productive season. We are excited to welcome several new additions to our headquarters team, and we have a load of travel plans on the books to meet with folks at industry events and conferences across Central Florida. We're also looking ahead to a new mentor-protégé and joint venture agreement for healthcare support to help us deliver even more exceptional services as an 8a Economically-Disadvantaged Woman-Owned Small Business. View our current capabilities to see what we offer.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read 8-koi kurrents and learn more about us and how we work as a small business alongside our commercial teammates and government customers. Feel free to pass this along to a friend, and send us your feedback at any time.

Please let me know how we can help you meet your personal and professional goals in the New Year.

In partnership,

News from the Network...
Medical errors are the third-leading cause of death in the United States, according to research results from Johns Hopkins University.

"To realize the full potential of AI and other digital technologies we will need to overhaul medical education for future physicians and nurses and rethink professional development for current caregivers," says Jonathan Woodson, former U.S. assistant secretary of defense for health affairs Jonathan.

MEET THE TEAM :: Darlene Parker
Administrative Assistant to CEO
Darlene is one of our newest additions to 8-koi headquarters. She is lending her attention to detail from a successful law enforcement career to supporting Inga and the home office with managing key relationships and executive assignments. In her spare time, Darlene enjoys making candles and spending time outdoors, but NOT starting forest fires!! Read these tips for safely burning and enjoying fires this season.
KUDOS to a key member of our healthcare training team, Joe Ogershok, who was recognized by our customer at Fort Detrick for his support of the recent Advanced Trauma Life Support
courses conducted at the Uniformed Services University during the week of March 12-16, 2018.

"It is fair to say that without his leadership and willingness to step up were essential to the success of this key readiness curriculum. His efforts bring great credit to himself, your department, Ft. Detrick, and the DoD, and should not go unnoticed...Thanks again for your ongoing support and provision of a key (indispensable) member of our team helping to ensure that our next generation of young doctors and nurses will be able to expertly care for our wounded heroes and save lives that might otherwise have been lost. You have my gratitude!"

-Surgical Director of Simulation, Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences
