Community Safety Day
This fun-filled day is open to 8 - 12 year olds. We will p
rovide education and resources to make farm, and rural life safer and healthier for children and their communities. Space is limited to the first 50 to register. Planned activities include demonstrations and discussions on numerous safety-related topics. Participants will be divided into small groups to rotate through the safety sessions. Lunch and a t-shirt are provided to all participants.

E-Textiles
Electronic textiles, also known as smart garments, or smart fabrics, are
fabrics that enable digital components such as a battery, lights, and electronics to be embedded in them. So not only will you learn about electronic circuits but you will also learn some sewing skills.

As a way of stream lining the enrollment process the state is using a new online enrollment system. To participate in 4-H you must be enrolled. 4
HOnline is designed so that each family has an online family profile and every youth and volunteer has an individual profile under their family profile. Please go on to the new system and sign your child on as a 4-H member. To access the North Carolina 4HOnline website click here: nc.4honline
