Don't Miss May 9 Gala  Honoring Nick Bollettieri & Michael Wilbon

There are only a few tickets left for JTCC annual's GEICO Champions Celebration honoring Hall of Fame Coach Nick Bolletieri and ESPN host Michael Wilbon. For the ninth year, the Swedish Ambassador will graciously host the gala at the official residence in Washington, DC to benefit JTCC's Game On! community outreach program, reaching underserved youth in the District.

Frances Tiafoe Achieves Career High Ranking

By reaching the round of 16 at the Miami Open in Key Biscayne, FL, JTCC alumnus Frances Tiafoe attained his career high world ranking of #56.  His run to 4th round included wins over #21 seed Kyle Edmund and #10 seed Tomas Berdych. 

Tiafoe showed his "playful" side by going "undercover" as a ticket scanner! Click here to watch the amusing video of Frances surprising fans.

JTCC Hosts Free Community Tennis Festival 
May 12 from 3 - 5 PM

The JTCC festival welcomes children ages 5-13 of all skill levels from throughout the greater Washington D.C area, who have not been enrolled in JTCC programming in the past year. All participants are invited to attend one day of JTCC Summer Camp at no cost. In addition, JTCC coaches will identify 25 promising players to receive scholarships to attend two weeks of Summer Camp!

Sign Up Today For 
High Performance Summer Training

Spaces are filling up quickly! Make your summer plans with JTCC for High Performance Summer Training. Starting the week of June 11 and the ending the week of August 24, there are 11 week-long sessions. 

Levels include:
Champs 1 (Monday - Friday, 8 am - 3 pm)
For Advanced Tournament players who will participate in rigorous on-court training and are competing in ITF, National and Sectional L3 events.

Champs 2 (Monday - Friday , 11 am - 6 pm)
Designed for high school, state or sectional players in the early stages of their tournament careers who are  starting to compete in L4 - L7 Sectional events.

ROGY Summer Camp Registration Open

Join JTCC's summer camp for beginner and intermediate players. O pen to youth ages 5 - 16.

Weekly sessions starting from June 11 are available for players of all abilities! There is something with everyone with half and full day camps plus options including non-tennis activities.

John Borden Featured Speaker at TOM Conference in Charleston

Joined by other leading tennis industry experts JTCC General Manager, John Borden, addressed the audience at the 5th annual Tennis Owners and Managers Conference held at Wild Dunes in Charleston, SC from April 8 -11. 
JTCC Launches Tennis Program 
A t College Park Academy 

On April 10 JTCC coaches led the first of eight introductory tennis sessions for 6th grade students at neighboring College Park Academy (CPA). The entire 6th grade class of 135 students will have multiple opportunities to try tennis 
including a tennis festival hosted by JTCC
for the entire CPA community on June 2.
JTCC Introduces UTR Tournament (Universal Tennis Rating) 

JTCC's first UTR tournament attracted entries from men and women of all ages competing in a mixed gender event. Endre Esztergomi beat Joceliyn Cavero 7-6 7-5 in the finals of the UTR 8.0 - 8.99 category.  The next  UTR tournament at JTCC will be held from May 5-7.

JTCC Welcomes Brad Snyder 

It was an inspirational afternoon on Wednesday, April 11 at JTCC when Brad Snyder, multiple Paralympic swimming gold medalist, spoke to a large group consisting of players, parents, coaches and members. The audience was enraptured as they listened Snyder describe how he overcame losing his vision while serving in Afghanistan to win the 400-meter gold in the London Paralympics in 2012 exactly one year to the day after he was injured.
