IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Sadly, Stage Door Theatre lowered its final curtain after 26 seasons on Wednesday, March 20th. The loss of this theatre company is a loss for the entire theatrical and theatre-going community.

The City of Lauderhill and The Lauderhill Performing Arts Center are extremely grateful to be working with Slow Burn Theatre Company and the Broward Center  for the Performing Arts to accommodate ticket buyers who are affected by the recent announcement that the remainder of the 2019 season at the Stage Door has been cancelled.

In a display of the camaraderie and warmth that pervades the South Florida Theatre community, Slow Burn Theatre Company and the Broward Center have generously agreed to assist Stage Door subscribers who have season tickets remaining, as well as individual ticket buyers who were scheduled to attend a Stage Door performance.

If you fall into either of these categories, and have not yet been contacted about this offer, please call the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center Box Office at

March & April 2019

Curtain Call Playhouse will present Neil Simon's  Last of the Red Hot Lovers  in various South Florida venues from March 15th through April 14th

Middle-aged and married, overworked and overweight, Barney Cashman wants to join the sexual revolution before it's too late and arranges three seductions: the first, Elaine Navazio proves to be a foul-mouthed bundle of neuroses; Bobbi Michele is next, a 30-ish actress who's too kooky by half; finally comes Jeanette Fisher, a gloomy, depressed housewife who happens to be married to Barney's best friend.

"Mr. Simon has created a great character here...it is extraordinarily funny and yet also charming...as witty as ever, perhaps wittier." - The New York Times.
