Summer Student Life

Lake Pointe Student Life will host events for various groups throughout the month of July. Student service council members have prepared times for new secondary students, the full secondary student body, and elementary families to come together for fun and fellowship. These times will be a great chance for old friends to catch up and new friendships to be formed. See the  Student Life calendar page for event dates, times, and details.

Building on a Legacy
After serving LPA athletic for over a decade, Coach Kurtz has stepped down from the Athletic Director position. Filling the gap, Mr. Spratley, LPA teacher and coach, will be the new athletic director. Mr. Spratley will continue as the girls' basketball coach but will now support and oversee the other teams' coaches and
players, as well.

Yearbooks For Sale
For those who missed the online yearbook sales, there are extra books available for purchase. Stop by Lake Pointe during summer hours, Tuesday and Thursday 9 to 3, to purchase your yearbook.

Book Sale
LPA will host its annual used book sale for books on the 2018-2019 school year's book list through the end of June and beginning of July. Books can only be sold at the sale if they are on the book list; currently, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, 3rd grade grammar, and Spanish courses are under review for curriculum changes. For more info and to view the book lists, click here.

Tax deductible book donations
Lake Pointe will offer a tax receipt for families who want to donate book list materials to the academy. We will issue deduction receipts for two types of materials that have been on our book list:

1. Those to be used for next year. We will keep these in reserve for new families.
2. Those items that have been removed from thebook list. We will attempt to sell these via online sources as a fundraiser.

Lake Pointe Students on Mission
