Graduation Celebration
May 6, 3:30-5:30pm

The Bishop will be joining us the first Sunday in May as we come together to celebrate our graduating seniors. All youth in middle and high school, their families, and friends travel from across the Diocese for the occasion. Registration is available on the  calendar page.  You can find an event flyer on our  event resources page. What happens when you work hard at Lemonade Days???? You get a lot of donations!!!!

Thanks again to all of the hardworking folks that made this possible. 
Total revenue this year is $ 10,781.71!

These monies go to support the J2A pilgrimage and Malachi's Storehouse.

The last 7:30 am Thursday morning Eucharist will be Thursday, May 17, 2018. We are taking a break for the summer.

                                                                                



Chair Yoga


Chair Yoga is taking a break and will not be meeting on Fridays until later in the summer.




Pentecost Sunday and Picnic is May 20!

Please plan to attend! Buy your tickets early! Bring friends along to share in the fun!



Tickets will be on sale in the Narthex after both services this Sunday.
 
What you need to know:
- Tickets are $10 per person or $30 per family - please buy in advance!
- Hogie sandwiches (veggie and GF options avail), chips  and drinks will be provided.
- Please bring a side dish to share.
- We will have games and fun for all ages!
- Friends and family are welcome!

This year the picnic will be an old-fashioned style picnic on the lawn, and hosted by the J2A Youth Class (8th and 9th graders) as a fundraiser to raise money for their upcoming pilgrimage to Iceland. Please support the kids and spend a fun filled afternoon with your favorite church people!

It is rooted in the antiquated belief in a false hierarchy of human value; a belief America cannot allow to persist in the 21st century. Dr. Gail C. Christopher is an award-winning change agent widely recognized for designing holistic strategies for social change. She is the former senior advisor and vice president of the WK Kellogg Foundation and past executive director of The Institute for Government Innovation at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. This talk will draw from decades of experience as a social change agent to explore practical approaches to overcoming hate and embracing our sacred interconnected humanity.  Register here .

Recognizing Abuse and Exploitation in Elder and Vulnerable Adult Settings

This course teaches you how to recognize and prevent mistreatment of elderly people. You will learn about the types of abuse, neglect, and exploitation, including how they occur and how to report them. You will also learn tips for providing quality care to the elderly while protecting yourself from false allegations of abuse.
