Dear St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School Families,

Happy Friday! In this week’s letter, I’d like to explore the survey results related to first semester campus events. The results can be seen in the graph.

Many also gave a “neutral” response because explaining that they did not attend so did not have an opinion. This averaged to about 15% of the respondents to each question.

Some comments included: Wanting to know homeroom teacher sooner, wanting more time with teachers at conferences, appreciated info on Parent Nights but too close to info on First Day, more direction during Open House, having first day parent orientation in the evening in consideration of dual-working parents, grateful for more involved Grandparents’ Day, desire to have more details during conferences, appropriateness of children attending conferences, being sure students without grandparents are included in classroom activities during Grandparents’ Day, Homecoming was wonderful, more vendor trucks at Homecoming…This is a good cross-section of the responses.

Administration and Advancement are already discussing ways to consolidate start-of-year events. This feedback gives us much time to tweak these Fall events for the 2019-2020 school year. After each of these events, we meet as a staff to review and analyze what to do better the following year. Your input helps us with that as well. Thank you!

Only by His Grace,

Veronica Tucker
