Celtic Rhythms: Keeping Time with God
The season of Lent (40 days from Ash Wednesday to Easter) is a time for deepening our faith. This year, we will let the Celts be our teachers in drawing closer to God's own heart. By exploring some core spiritual elements that define the Celtic tradition - finding God in the ordinary, seeking God in creation, silence and solitude, the Iorica (breastplate prayer), and the Celtic High Cross - perhaps you'll discover a new rhythm for daily living that helps you keep better time with God. Join us for this new message series on Sundays during Lent.

This week's message will be " Seeking Silence and Solitude," by Rev. Catherine Fluck Price.
Desert Wanderings: Exploring Questions of Faith
This week we continue Desert Wanderings, our 6:35 worship series for Lent. Each week, one of our pastors will share a message based on your questions about faith. To submit yours, go here. At the end of worship each Wednesday, one of the questions received will be randomly drawn by a member of the congregation and become the focus for the following week's message.

This week's message is, "On Being Brave," based on the question, "How Can I Be Brave When Dealing With Conflict?" by Rev. Steve Price.
Mission Box
This week's mission box will support the Florida United Methodist Children's Home Madison Youth Ranch. The Ranch is a place of love and safety for children who are desperately in need of both. The focus of these funds will go toward making a difference in these children's lives, let's continue to show these children how much Trinity loves and cares for them. A Call for Creation Care
In his sermon this past Sunday, Steve started with a reflection back to St. Patrick's Prayer that we received a copy of on March 17.  I suppose I see in this prayer and the song, For the Beauty of the Earth, a call for action.  His words continued to echo thoughts on God's Creation and it being good. If you open your eyes you can see God everywhere. We were created good, and there is goodness in each of us. John Wesley walked the trails in the mountains and saw the beauty of the earth and our book of discipline calls for us to care for all creation, including the air, land and water.

At such a time as this, I feel we need a start-up conversation about Trinity developing a Creation Care team.    If you are interested in being a part of this discussion please contact Jim McFarlane ( 352-448-5790).

Dressing Pastor Steve for Easter
While in Rwanda last month, Pastor Steve had this shirt custom-made by one of several ZOE graduates who now own and operate a tailor shop. Now you get to decide if we will all see him wearing it for worship on Easter Sunday. You can vote FOR the shirt with your contribution to the "YES, he wears it!" fund or AGAINST the shirt with your contribution to the "NO, he doesn't!" fund. All contributions to both funds will go toward supporting our ZOE kids. The fund with the most contributions wins.

You can "vote" on Sunday morning,  online here , or text the amount and either "yes" or "no" to 352-204-0163.
