What did Josh and Stacey share this week?

St. Angela Merici is a small seed of the Gospel. By society's standards, she was almost nothing by losing her family at a young age, not educated as a woman, and not married. Such little seeds like Angela grow into large trees; trees that enrich a deep prayer life. She declined an invitation to visit the pope, was led through the holy land after being struck blind, and took care of those most in need, including the poor and disabled. This small, insignificant woman became a great saint by dying to the world and living for the love of Jesus Christ. Jesus saw what she could blossom into and now she does the same interceding for all the poor and disable so that the seed of their life, given to Jesus, can blossom beautifully.

Reflect
Who are the people around me that seem to have nothing in this world? Are they in need of the most precious commodity we have today: our time? Are there people who are poor in the faith, friendships or family that could use some encouragement? Become a servant of Jesus and help them plant their life for Jesus in dying to this world, so that all may draw from the eternal life of Jesus.

Act
Spend two extra minutes this week either in prayer, time listening to someone in need or someone who annoys you.
