Summer Is Coming
We get asked often if most people continue instruction during their season and the answer is YES! During season you are competing 90% of the time and because there is little time to work on the fundamentals, coming in for "regular check ups" is a must. Too often we see a girl completely stop training and when she returns for lessons in the fall it's like starting from scratch. It's very frustrating for the athlete and can affect their progress in the off-season as we need to spend the first month or two correcting bad habits that developed in season. Our goal is maintain the current skill level throughout season so when we get to off-season in the fall we can work toward our goals without back tracking.

Noteable: A Letter from Amie
I am so ready for summer... or how about even a little more spring? It took its grand 'ol time getting here. Congrats to so many of our hard working high school and college athletes out there kicking butt! We love watching your successes and are rooting for you every game! We do try to send updates on all the LFP athletes but there are a lot of you! Dave scours as many papers and internet sources as possible but it's a challenge! If you could email Dave any highlights -pitching, hitting, or fielding- and scores to help him out that would be great!
We've got some awesome stuff going on at LFP this summer I can't wait to tell you about! The first is a program Kenzie Conrad is developing for the college bound athlete. This program will be for Elite pitchers who are on the recruiting path or have been recruited. It will be an 8 week program where you will practice with Kenzie to prepare you for the college experience. We will be sending out invitations for this camp and if you would like to be on that list please contact Kenzie .
We will also have beginner and intermediate camps with Laney Jones! One will be for hitting and fielding and the other will be for pitching. For our intermediate level athletes this will be run as a practice, less skill development and more skill enhancement - building confidence and increasing consistency!
