The special offering this month is for HisAbilities, a ministry of Christ Covenant Church which seeks to serve individual members and families with special needs including cognitive and physical disabilities. The ministry purpose is to come alongside covenant families with advocacy, resources and support with the goal of ensuring that Sunday worship services, classes, and church-wide activities are accessible to all members, regardless of disabilities. Pastors Yard Day
Saturday, May 12 | 9 AM - 1 PM
We like to show our appreciation and support of our pastors by hosting a pastors yard day. So, on Saturday, May 12, volunteers from the congregation will gather in small groups at each pastor's home to help them get their yards ready for the summer by trimming bushes, spreading mulch, pressure washing, planting flowers, and other small outdoor jobs. We'll begin at 9 AM and usually finish by 1 PM. (Many helping hands are needed. The more we have the faster it goes!) To sign up, contact Mary Jo Culver at [email protected] or 704-814-1039.

Women's Summer Bible Study
Tuesdays, June 5-July 10 | 7-8:30 PM
The Women's Ministry is offering a six week study on "God's Covenant with Noah" led by Carolyn Carpenter. The class begins on June 5 from 7-8:30 PM and costs $5. This study will focus on how God's covenant with Noah fits into God's overarching plan of redemption, culminating in Jesus Christ. We will see relevance to today's time with widespread corruption. The Genesis passages show the seriousness of sin and need for a savior. Application for us is our responsibility of sharing the gospel with people drowning in their sins. Please see christcovenant.org/wbs for more details and to register for this class.

Vacation Bible School 2018
June 18-22
Vacation Bible school at Christ Covenant Church is a mission of our Seek the City youth mission week, June 18-22. Registration will open on May 1. VBS is free and open to children ages 5-11. (Note: Children must be 5 on or before June 18, 2018, to be able to participate.) Please encourage your friends and neighbors to register their children for this transforming week. Information and registration will be on our Seek the City webpage, so look for it soon!
