Advice from Atlanta
Academy leaders visited another University Model School in the Atlanta, GA area this week. The team gained valuable insight about the accreditation process, based on that school's experience. Mrs. Applegate, Mr. Rodgers, Mr. Lemmon and LPA's accreditation consultant Gail Stowe were also able to tour Cornerstone Prep's new campus buildings for ideas.

Core Trainings
Mrs. Lundsford, Mrs. Cutshall, and Ms. Jackson finished up co-teacher and new student training this week. Teacher and staff members are now preparing for the start of the school year in just a couple weeks.

Fresh Paint
The Lake Pointe lobby has a new coat of paint thanks for parent volunteer Wendy Taylor. The fresh lobby color is just a portion of efforts to prepare the building for the 2018-2019 school year.
