Bennett Arts Council Auction to Support Teens Living Clean Mural Wall

The Bennett Arts Council is excited to auction the pieces of the Teens Living Clean mural wall at the I-70 Corridor Art Show and Auction. Proceeds from the auction will go to maintaining the mural wall in Trupp Park.

The Bennett Arts Council began working with Teens Living Clean to create a mural wall for Trupp Park that would bring color and imagination to the park, and would celebrate and encourage the community's young people to get involved in their area. We are proud to partner with  TLC  because of their commitment to living a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.

In their first mural wall design, they featured aspect of their lives associated with living on the plains of Colorado. We were so impressed by their creativity and commitment to the project and look forward to many more mural walls to come.

2020 Census News

Every 10 years, the U.S. Census Bureau sets out to get a head count of everyone residing in the United States. The Census counts people of all ages, races, and ethnic groups to get an accurate measure of the U.S. population. These population totals are used to determine the number of seats each state has in the House of Representatives, how federal and state legislative districts are redrawn, and the appropriation of federally funded programs.

For Colorado, an accurate census count is essential. Federal state and local governments, businesses, nonprofits, and foundations rely on Census data to allocate funding, understand how the community is changing, and promote economic development.

The State Complete Count Campaign (CCC) is a volunteer committee established to increase awareness about Census 2020; respond to the population's questions and concerns about the Census; focus resources on hard-to-count areas and populations; and to motivate residents in the community to respond with the best, most accurate, count in Colorado.
