Call Me By My True Names
Reverend Mary Ann Macklin
Based on a collection of poems by Vietnamese Buddhist monk Thich Nhat Hanh, this worship service will explore the light and shadow of human existence. In the July 1st Wellspring worship service, member Gladys DeVane shared, "The most memorable reading for me was a poem entitled 'Call Me by My True Names' by Thich Nhat Hanh. As I read this poem, I realized that everything is connected and good and evil are part of it all." Keaton Springfield, piano, and Steve Pollitt, flute, will bring gifts of music.

This Week in Religious Education: Story
Our preschoolers will be hearing the story "The Great Blueness" by Arnold Lobel as they appreciate the beautiful variety in our world and explore our Violet UU Promise: Value the Earth.  Our K+ children will join Reverend Emily and Jill Courtney in the library for stories from around the world and yoga.
Religious Education (RE) is collecting empty single use water bottles for the intersession tree watering project. If you have any to donate, please bring them to the RE Office (Room 203).
