The webinar will go over important changes for HME suppliers in the wake of the March 30 Interim Final Rule on COVID-19 and other recently released policy guidance from CMS.

Our panel will cover new changes in areas that include: respiratory-related coverage policies, documentation requirements, face-to-face encounters, and medical review activities. The presenters will also cover DME provisions in the recently passed COVID-19 stimulus bill, including payment in non-competitive bid areas and expansion of practitioners who can prescribe DME under Medicare and Medicaid.

Update on Medi-Cal Waiver on Prior Authorization

In our last email blast we informed you of the changes to the Medi-Cal TAR requirements. We noted that we were not yet clear on whether the changes also applied for CCS SARs. DHCS has informed us that the changes applied to both TARs and SARs.

CAMPS Sends Joint Letter to DHCS on Medi-Cal Changes for DME/Supplies During COVID Crisis
 
CAMPS sent a joint letter with AAHomecare, NCART and V GM  requesting that DHCS make immediate program changes to insure that Medi-Cal patients can access DME/supplies and providers are able to timely provide these supplies and services. Click here to view the letter.
