CML and Dr. Bobbie Eisenstock Celebrate Successful Semester at Cal State
The
Center for Media Literacy was pleased to work with Dr. Bobbie Eisenstock's undergraduate journalism/diversity students at California State University, Northridge in fall 2017. At post-test, 78% of these students reported that they didn't learn about media literacy until their college class. This number reveals how little opportunity students had to engage with media literacy concepts in their K-12 experience. The students created service learning projects as part of their classwork. CML shares a few of the projects along with assignments completed during the semester on their website
