END-OF-THE-YEAR EXPEDITIONS: RETURN TIME & INFO
-6th & 7th return at 4:30 pm at SBMS campus: please be prepared to take bikes and all gear home.
-8th returns at 6 pm at the SB Amtrak Station: please take home gear; bikes are to be picked up on Wednesday, June 13 on campus.

. There are still many slots that need volunteers...van drivers, help with decorations, food set-up, etc...

SUMMER HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS & PACKETS FOR RETURNING FAMILIES
This week we mailed home packets with information regarding next year (which should arrive for most local families by Saturday). The packets include next year's school calendar, the 2018-19 Community Handbook, summer office hours, and forms to complete and return to us by July 1. Also, summer homework assignments were emailed this week as well. You can find those assignments under Resources in the SBMS Hub. Please take some time to read through the information sent.

SBMS BIKING SUMMER CAMP! NEW
Come learn proper bicycle riding techniques on trails and basic bike mechanics, taught by the experienced staff of Santa Barbara Middle School. We'll explore the bike trails at Elings Park, Wilcox Preserve, and More Mesa. Must bring bike, helmet, & gloves. Lunch and snacks provided. Ages 9-13. Mon.-Fri., 9
am-3pm. There are 4 sessions:

Video Summer Camp for Teens - Create a YouTube Channel
summercamp'18 for teens in Santa Barbara that focuses on digital storytelling and film.
We will teach important tools to tell stories and will dive into stop-motion, cel animation, video, scripts and storyboards in this one-week intensive class.
What students learn will be great preparation for any school projects: documentaries, explainer videos, music videos, etc. Learn more or register
