My Fellow CCIMs,
Summer is upon us and in many cases the Commercial Real Estate market has been even hotter than the temperatures that we've experienced. While deals and various tasks tend to demand your full attention, it can be more challenging than usual to set time aside to make sure you reinvest in your business acumen.
Please remember that you can rely on CCIM as a single source for diverse solutions. First on that list is the  education; For those candidates who have yet to receive the pin, you should consider the  eight 2018 classes remaining right here in the Sunshine State. For Designees who have never taken advantage of the steep discounts that the 'Life After the Pin' program offers, I reassure doing so. Much of the course data along with the software tools have been updated and the freshen-up is quite advantageous...

Florida Commercial Real Estate Leaders Honored By CCIM Institute, Leading Commercial Real Estate Association
 
 

The CCIM Institute recognized the  Florida CCIM Chapter for excellence at its  Midyear Governance Meetingsin Tampa held April 10 th, where they awarded the Chapter the prestigious  President's Cup.
The President's Cup First Place Award is awarded to Chapters of  CCIM Institute, the governing body of the largest commercial real estate broker network in the world, as a way of recognizing innovation and outstanding Chapter activities programs...



Florida Chapter Members Make CCIM History

 
As Hunter Strickland, CCIM, passed the CCIM comprehensive exam and was awarded the CCIM designation at CCIM Institute's 2018 Midyear Governance Meetings, the crowd in the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay increasingly realized that history was being made. 

When Hunter was officially pinned on April 11, multi- generations of his family were recognized as the first three generation family of CCIM designees in the history of CCIM Institute...


 

16 Florida CCIM Chapter Members Earn Coveted Designation

 
A number of members of the Florida CCIM Chapter have been awarded the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation by CCIM Institute. 
The designation was awarded during a pinning ceremony during CCIM Institute's recent Midyear Governance Meetings at the Grand Hyatt in Tampa.
The chapter members were among more than 150 designees honored by CCIM Institute and their local chapter members at the April event. The new CCIMs have varying years of experience and work in all aspects of the commercial real estate profession. They hail from 37 states and Canada...



Florida West Coast Goes Global With First-Ever Symposium

 
An all-star lineup of attorneys, currency experts, CPAs, global lenders, economic development leaders and certified international instructors gathered on July 10th in this city just north of Tampa to educate more than 100 attendees on the foreign opportunities that are potentially available to them. 

"I couldn't be prouder of the symposium committee who spent months planning for this event for CCIMs and our guests from all over the state," said Karl "Dee" Maret CCIM, who leads the Florida CCIM Chapter as the 2018 West Coast District President.  "Everything was stupendous - from the truly world-class educators and expert panelists - to the hotel, the international food choices at lunch and happy hour and the valuable networking opportunities sprinkled throughout the day..."
