Redevelopment Opportunities

1200 N. Meacham Road
CBRE and Colliers is currently marketing a 7.5 acre redevelopment site at the northwest corner of Meacham and Golf Roads. The existing site features a single two story building which houses Macy's Furniture. CBRE and Colliers is marketing the property for either re-use or complete redevelopment. Millennium Properties R/E is currently marketing a 12.6 acre redevelopment site for sale just northwest of the former Motorola property. The existing site features four single story office buildings but Millennium Properties is also marketing the property for other commercial and residential uses. 1111 E. Golf Road
IRC is currently marketing a 47,000 square foot retail space along Golf Road, less than a mile away from Woodfield Mall. The site was the former home of Toys R Us but is now a prime retail opportunity in the Woodfield Regional Center. 90 North District Website

The 90 North District is located in the north part of Schaumburg and bounded by I-90, Roselle Road, Algonquin Road, and Arbor Drive. Regional and global anchors have already created a strong economic core at I-90 and Meacham Road at the heart of the 90 North District. Major anchors currently include the Zurich North America Headquarters, the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel & Convention Center, and Motorola Solutions. Together, these anchors host 5,000 employees in the area every day as well as over 250,000 visitors annually just at the Convention Center.

The Village is in the process of launching a brand new website dedicated to showcasing all the opportunities available at 90 North. In the meantime, Economic Development Department staff has created the following webpage to provide you with an inside look at current plans and active projects in the district:

Congratulations to Nicole Dautovic at SITE Centers and Margaret Graham and Sarah Norlander at Mid-America on their recent lease signing of Sierra Trading Post to backfill 20,000 SF of vacant space at the Woodfield Village Green shopping center!

The Economic Development Department is here to serve as a resource to you and  your clients by assisting in back filling existing vacant spaces and attracting new  investment to the community. Staff manages an inventory of available sites on the village's website as well as actively promotes the inventory to new businesses looking to locate in Schaumburg.
