From the Executive Director

Dear Friends,

One of the more transformative experiences I've had in my life has been the opportunity to both study and travel throughout the State of Israel. I could write a novel about the experiences, but I will save you the trouble and get to the point. Perhaps the greatest part of these trips is the people I met - people no different than you and me, and people who face many of the same obstacles in their lives.

During the month of May, I encourage you to make a trip down to Main Street in O-T-R and visit our Art Beyond Boundaries Gallery (ABB) to see a bit of Israel. The exhibit titled " Victory of the Spirit" features the incredible art of Nevo Afek, a young man from Eilat, Israel. Nevo brings his unique connection to our mission as an artist who is partially blind and on the Autistic spectrum. Afek's oils on canvas are vibrant with color, mostly primary colors, mostly abstract though with visible references both to nature and figuration. You will really want to see it.

Our thanks to the sponsors and the many people who made this exhibit possible including the ABB Steering Committee members. As always, I want to hear from you. Please feel free to contact me at 513-241-2600 (extension 211) or by e-mail. Thank you for your continued support of our mission.

Regards,

Rob
