Health care leaders must know something about supply chain and this is a great opportunity to learn. All our Fellows and friends can participate free if they RSVP before the limited space runs out. Fellows can earn a free badge in supply chain whereas there will be a fee for non-Fellows wanting this one hour ACHT badge. Board members need a high level understanding of supply chain. They need to know what questions to ask the executive team. Chances are, COOs, CNOs and CFOs and non-physician department heads have operational experience and know a fair amount about supply chain. Surgeons, physicians, nurses, VPMAs, and folks selling goods and services to hospitals and other organizations along the continuum of care each have unique perspectives. Care can be improved if we all learn to speak the same language.
