Helping Small Business During COVID-19
Message from the President: We Area Learning a Lot!
When the world changes, you learn, adapt, thrive and repeat. It's the cycle of life.

This week as we connected virtually with so many members we learned a lot. Who would have thought that if someone told you that you, your family and your business would have to shelter in place for 45 days, you would indeed just figure it out?

Our community is learning and adapting. Businesses are developing new services and programs that meet the times. Our Facebook posts have promoted virtual wine and beer tastings, virtual boutique crawls, Easter Sunday Brunch carry-outs, candy survival kits and bouquets for pickup, telehealth services, virtual counseling, coaching, exercise classes, story times, book clubs and more.

Families are becoming closer and more aware of each other. We are appreciating the value of others and particularly those we have taken for granted. It's the health care workers, grocery store staff, delivery drivers and mail carriers who are helping us win this battle.

This week we heard stories about parents working as teachers, cooks, coaches and professionals all in one day. We are realizing that everyone matters and anyone can be a hero. We are understanding that families are the nucleus of all that is dear in our lives. We are proving that in extremely challenging times, we can find ways to learn, adapt and thrive. -- Suzanne Corr, BACC President
