DASH CIC-START Enables More Communities to Go "All In"

In an effort to further support communities participating in All In, DASH made five new awards through CIC-START, a program that provides limited funds to help local leaders take meaningful steps toward planning or implementing multi-sector data systems. 


A Shared Agenda for Addressing SDOH Through Medicaid

DASH Co-Director Clare Tanner participated in an expert panel convened by the National Quality Forum to create a framework for state Medicaid programs that aligns health systems and safety net systems around improving social determinants of health (SDOH).

Multi-Sector Partnership and Innovation

PHNCI awarded grants to nine agencies implementing innovations to advance a culture of health, each with a clear focus on cross-sector partnerships. This resource highlights the different categories of partners these grantees have engaged.


Cross-Sector Collaboration for Data Sharing Series

The National Center for Complex Care and Social Needs produced a series of webinars and briefs to provide practical examples of successful cross-sector data sharing, featuring  DASH awardee partner Alliance of Chicago and former CHP awardee Providence CORE.


Promoting Better Health Beyond Health Care

Several All In leaders contributed to this national analysis, developed by the Center for Health Care Services with support from RWJF, which explores opportunities to catalyze state multi-sector collaboration to achieve population health goals. 


Baltimore Seeks to Curb Elderly Falls with Data Initiative

U.S. News & World Report featured the efforts of B'FRIEND, a  DASH awardee, to use data mapping to curb fall-related injuries for older adults in Baltimore. Officials are using data to target interventions with the goal of reducing falls by 20 percent over the next decade.

East San Jose PEACE Partnership

With funding from CACHI, organizations from multiple sectors in San Jose are coordinating efforts to implement interventions and strategies that build healthier environments and address violence, trauma and the linked health challenges. 


Project Detour: Interrupting the Cycle of Addiction

Project Detour, a BUILD 2.0 site, is a cross-sector collaboration working to address drug and alcohol dependence where individuals have the opportunity for recovery instead of repeat patterns of violence, crime, and/or homelessness. Individuals are identified early and diverted into peer support, care and prescription management.

New Group of Public Health Practitioners and Researchers

All In welcomes the  PopCop (Population Health Community of Practice) group and the expertise it brings to our community. The group includes local and state public health agencies that meet virtually to share opportunities, promising practices, and lessons learned for using electronic health data.

  • Communities Thrive Challenge: Due June 12 - The Rockefeller Foundation is looking to fund, strengthen, and grow local solutions that expand economic opportunity for low-income and financially insecure people.
  • Hearst Health Prize Due August 9  - The winner of this prize will receive a $100,000 prize, with $25,000 awarded to up to two finalists, in recognition of outstanding achievement in managing or improving population health.
