SCCS SCHOOL BOARD ELECTIONS THIS WEEKEND

Annually, the SCCS Board of Directors holds elections to fill open seats. This year there are 3 openings. The term for elected Board positions is three years, with a maximum of two consecutive terms. ERIE COUNTY COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER SHOT CLINICS
GRADES 5-8 FOOTBALL MINI-CAMP The 2018 Panther Football Mini-Camp is being held Monday, July 23 through Thursday, July 26, from 3:30pm-5:00pm at Zierolf Field for students entering grades 5-8 in the fall. The camp is led by the varsity football staff and players, who will teach the basic fundamentals of football. We will emphasize the proper techniques needed to become a successful football player. The fundamentals of offensive and defensive positions will be introduced, along with punting, kicking, and snapping. There is no fee for this camp.

SALES TAX HOLIDAY
The Ohio Sales Tax Holiday begins on Friday, August 3 at 12:00am and ends on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at 11:59pm. During this time, clothing priced at $75 per item or less and school supplies priced at $20 per item or less are exempt from sales and use tax.

Mandatory football practice for grades 7 and 8 begins on Monday, July 30 at Zierolf Field from 5:30pm-6:30pm.
JUNIOR HIGH VOLLEYBALL
Mandatory volleyball practice for girls in grades 7 and 8 begins on Monday, July 30 in the Multi-Purpose Room from 10:00am-12:00pm.
MARCHING BAND PRACTICE
The Marching Band will meet Monday, July 30 through Friday, August 3 at 8:00am in the parking lot to practice marching techniques. All band members are invited, but seniors, first chairs, and first year band members are the most encouraged to attend.
