Aesculap achieved 50% enrollment in an ongoing Phase III clinical trial of NOVOCART 3D, an autologous chondrocyte transplantation system designed to treat knee articular cartilage defects.

The cup provides multiple implant configurations and bearing options for the Alteon portfolio and features asymmetric porous coating. Exactech will expand U.S. rollout of the Alteon Cup in 2H19, and full launch is slated for late 2019.
 
ADAPTABLE is a sterile surgeon-controlled leg and retractor holder designed for the direct anterior approach for total hip arthroplasty.  The device empowers surgeons to reduce the number of staff intraoperatively and increase the overall O.R. economy.
 
MDC is developing a resorbable magnesium alloy technology that has the same mechanical strength as 316L stainless steel and application in numerous implantable orthopedic devices.
