June 8, 2018

Dear Parents,

We would like to dedicate this newsletter to our 8 th grade graduating Class of 2018. Today they graduated and the ceremony was simply beautiful! We are so proud of their achievements and wish them well in their chosen high schools.
Click here to view chosen schools.

On Wednesday evening at Class Night, our eighth graders were very creative in their rendition of their experiences at St. Aloysius School. They will take many fond memories with them into the future!

S.L.A.M. members were honored at an ice cream party during the week. They have grown in leadership and mentoring skills this year and we're sure these skills will serve them well as they journey into challenging situations. We're sure they will make us proud and as always there is an open invitation to come back and visit!

Many of our students enjoyed some fun excursions this past week. The eighth grade went on a field trip to Chelsea Piers in Stamford. Fourth grade visited the aquarium in Mystic Seaport. Coming up next week, the third grade will visit the CT Science Center in Hartford. Botanical Gardens will welcome our fifth and sixth graders. Last but not least and a tradition of many family memories, the Bronx Zoo. Second grade, fifth and sixth will see the animals, numerous exhibits and ride the monorail through the safari!

As a friendly reminder, our Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Steven Cheeseman, will be meeting with parents at 6:30 pm in our school auditorium/gym.

The next and final newsletter for this school year will be published on June 22, 2018.

God Bless You!
Bardhyl Gjoka
