CITY ANNOUNCEMENT:

SUNRISE IS A COMPASSIONATE CITY

NEW COMPASSION RESOURCE CENTER FOR YOU
AND A CITY COMPASSION OFFICER!
For the past several weeks, I have been telling you WE are a Compassionate City.

What does that mean?

Our City Staff has been responding to this ever-changing crisis and trying to find solutions, provide information, and be that friendly ear to listen.

Our Businesses have shown stunning resolve in the face of overwhelming sacrifices to save our community and our nation.

Our residents, near and far, have demonstrated the highest ideals of humanity through charity.

We all recognize the heroes on the front lines – doctors, nurses, hospital workers, first responders, and also, cashiers, stock personnel, bakers and butchers, farmers and farm workers, pharmacy workers, truck drivers, scientists and medical experts and so many more in our essential businesses.

Of course, we recognize all those who keep essential City, County, State and Federal operations working for all of us.

Working All Together, Motivated By
Grace, Love, Compassion and Empathy .

We, as a City, know that each of us need those principles now more than ever!
