Last year we were tied for the top spot, but this year the Howard County Chamber is the clear #1 according to the Baltimore Business Journal. The BBJ surveys all the Chambers in the Baltimore Region each year and with more than 735 members and growing, this year we are at the top of the rankings thanks to you! We are only as strong as our members, and this ranking means we have even more power behind us as we continue to advocate for our members and the Howard County business community as a whole.

Four additional human service agencies including the Departments of Community Resources and Services, Housing and Community Development, Office of Human Rights and Community Action Council of Howard County, have now made the move to the Howard County NonProfit Collaborative at 9770 Patuxent Woods Drive in Columbia.

Delegate Vanessa Atterbeary, currently running for re-election in District 13, has been named as the next Vice-Chair of the House Judiciary Committee by Speaker Michael Busch presuming he is re-elected as speaker for a fifth term.

The Baltimore Regional Transportation Board is scheduled to vote on two transportation-related documents - the draft 2-19-2022 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and the associated Air Quality Conformity Determination - next Tuesday, July 24th.
