Bad Enough

There is a consistent pattern to those who reach every level of success. They decide to talk themselves into pushing through their struggles in ways that most people cannot understand.

The mind is wired to tell you to run away from pain. It is designed to take the path of least
resistance. It is built to protect you from harm.

Here's what I have found out and a lot of successful people have discovered. Your brain doesn't want you to struggle. Your brain will tell you to stop when your body is screaming at you to quit.

Your mind will keep you from, massive, success in life. The successful people, in life, force their bodies to override their brain. They ask themselves, daily,
"Do you want it bad enough? Do you want it bad enough to push through the pain of the struggle...of the fight?"

Almost every day I work out. While on the bike, when I reach the third mile, my brain tells me "that's enough...you've done good...time to stop for the day." I know, however, if I reach the fifth mile (and beyond) that's where the calories start burning...that's where I push myself past the intense desire to stop pedaling.

The greatest-of-the-great have the same voice in their brain telling them that they've "done enough" and they can stop . The most successful understand that there is the slimmest of margins between number one and number two. They person, who achieves the number one status, pays the price...and a little bit more.

The intensity, for those who want success, is not for the weak. It is not for those who do the hard work only when they feel like it. It is for those who understand what getting up every day to paying the price means for their future .

The great tennis legend Serena Williams said, " I just hate to lose. When I am on the court, it is like my life depends on it. I really think a champion is defined not by their wins but by how they can recover when they fall. With a defeat, when you lose, you get up, you make it better, you try again.

That's what I do in life, when I get down, when I get sick, I don't want to just stop. I keep going and I try to do more. Everyone always says never give up but you really have to take that to heart and really do never definitely give up. Keep trying."

The successful understand the ancient saying, "Better to give then receive." They understand that life is about giving so much of them, daily, that their focus is on looking for ways to serve other people. They strive to l eave life better than they found it.
I ask you...do you want success bad enough that you are willing to push past your comfort zone? Do you want success bad enough to ignore your mind telling you that you've "done enough" for today?
Do you want success bad enough to do what average people refuse to do?
Actor Will Smith said, "Make a choice. Just decide. What it's gonna be, who you're gonna be, how you're gonna do it. Just decide."

Your brain can be your worst enemy or your best friend. If you choose to develop daily habits, for your life, that push you past 99% of other people you will reach levels of success you cannot imagine.
If you choose to silence the feelings that you have "done enough" you will be able to reach your goals and your dreams in record time.

I Believe in you!
