The Portal's Law Enforcement Collection contains over 50 studies looking at the relationship between police and immigrant communities. These studies highlight effective policy and procedure in working with these communities, the role of local police in immigration enforcement, and best practices in bridging the language and cultural differences that often create suspicion and misunderstanding. They also discuss the nature and extent of immigrant criminality.
