MESSAGE FROM THE VESTRY


The Wardens and Vestry are pleased to announce that the Rev. Kim F. Capwell will be our Interim Rector beginning November 1. Rev. Capwell comes to us with a great deal of experience and is excited to join the St. James' family. He will begin November 1, but his first Sunday will be November 10. We will have a Welcome Reception between the two services at 9:00 am in the Parish House on Sunday November 10. We hope you will join us to help welcome Rev. Capwell.
 
We also want to make you aware that Rev. Capwell is part time. He will be with us three Sundays a month but will only preach on two Sundays a month. One Sunday a month we will still have supply clergy.
 
We, again, thank you for your support and prayers over the past few months. We are looking forward to a wonderful future!

2019 Annual Bazaar & Turkey Dinner

Bazaar Bake Shop
Please bring your baked goods, jams, jellies, pickles, candies, etc. to the
Parish House at the following times.
                        Thursday, October 31 st                              5:30 pm – 7:30 pm
                       Friday, November 1 st                                 8:00 am – 2:30 pm
                       Saturday, November 2 nd                           8:00 am – 12:00 pm
As Thursday the 31 st is Halloween, anyone who needs to drop off their items earlier, please contact Shirley Alexander (738-5331) to arrange a time.

November 2 is our Annual Turkey Dinner Fun oops! FUND Raiser!

There are still tickets available but HURRY! 
We also need two more TURKEYS
Ticket prices are the same as last year $15 adult, $14 senior (65+),
and children (5-10) $8, 4-under free (however must have a ticket)

Ticket sales are underway after both services and in the church office Tuesday - Thursday, 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. We are also gratefully accepting cash/check donations to help offset the cost of purchased items such as eggs, dinner rolls, etc. We hope to see all you of on November 2.
